The return of the tale - I get distracted

While I’m sure my rambling posts are just as important, I should really be getting on with work at the moment so will cut to the chase and just post some pictures. Oh, and I’ve even done some painting.

For reference we have 9 Guardsmen, which is the start of my infantry squad - Sergeant with power axe, and one with a flamer.

  1. They look really deranged, in a good way!

Love the nurgling leg, where did you get the head for the 2nd last guy (left of last photo)?

I reckon he'd make a great Space Pup character model!

  2. Thanks Dave,

Has been great fun to make them, even with all the stabbing of my fingers along the way. The head is from the ‘Chaos Marauder Horsemen’ set.

If you are ever in need of bits I’ve attached a couple of sites I use to avoid having to pick up the complete box set. Might be helpful for some Space Wolves goodness.

Just been having a look at the ‘hammertime40k’ blog, excellent to see the progress on the Space Wolves. Nice clean lines on your painting, and as you mention very helpful to have a reference for how you painted it. I just end up having about 5 pots open at once and have no idea how I got the finished model.

On a side note – excellent choice of brush cleaner, found it made a big difference in making my brushes last. Not sure if you know about coolminiornot.com, but they are a great place for seeing amazing painting and there is a great forum attached for general advice and resources. Anyway I will stop rambling, and thank you again for your post.
